A board-certified medical oncologist, Dr. Chaudhary specializes in both oncology and hematology. In oncology she will diagnose and treat all diagnoses of cancer and hematology, including clotting and bleeding problems, white blood cell problems, and those of the bone marrow. As a member of a diverse team of experts at Matthews Hematology Oncology Assoc., Dr. Chaudhary works collaboratively with other doctors, sharing her knowledge and considering a wide range of treatment options, to create individualized treatment plans for each patient
Dr. Chaudhary served as a hematologist/oncologist at Cancer Care Partners in South Bend, Indiana before recruited to join our practice in N.C.
Dr. Chaudhary received her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from King Edward Medical University in Lahore, .Pakistan. She then completed her residency in internal medicine at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, N.Y., where she served as chief resident for two years. Dr. Chaudhary also completed her hematology and oncology fellowship at New York Methodist, which is affiliated with Weill Cornell Medical College and a member of the New York Presbyterian Healthcare System in New York. Deeply dedicated to her field, this leading specialist has given presentations at medical conferences on leukemia, lung cancer and metastatic breast cancer.
